- Roja started her career as a School teacher at New Era School of Khammam. News anchoring is something that happened by accident but not by her choice.
- When she was visiting her sister at the TV5 channel studio, she was spotted and got the job of News Anchoring.

After her stint with INews Television Telugu, she moved to 99 TV Telugu on 31st July 2018, where she got an opportunity to host the Prime Time News of 99TV Telugu.
