Darshana Das is an Indian Actress who works in Malayalam Television and Film Industry. She is known for her role ‘Podimol’ aka in’ Gayathri’ (Vava) in Karuthamuthu (2014) aired on Asianet. It broke the rating records in Malayalam, and actress Darshana Das became a household name in Kerala with this show.
Darshana was seen playing the main protagonist in Sumangalibhava. But, she had quit the show midway. Later, she acted as a negative character (Sarayu) in Mounaragam, but again, she left the show in the middle. Darshana also acted in a couple of movies.

Darshana made her small screen debut with ‘Pattu Saree‘ as a soft-spoken village girl. But later, she essayed mostly negative roles in her career. Her first negative role was ‘Priyanka’ in the television series ‘4 the People.’ She gained popularity by playing the grey-shaded role of Gayathri in Karuthamuthu.
Later, she appeared as the main antagonist, Sarayu, in Mounaragam but suddenly left the show in the middle. After some time during the lockdown, the actress surprised her fans with her pregnancy announcement. Her maternity shoot pictures have been viral and gained so much attention online.
