- The Jodhpur Model had participated in Miss Jodhpur 2019. She qualified a number of rounds including the talent round where she showcased her dancing and acting skills. Finally, she was announced as the Miss Elegant Jodhpur 2019 first runner-up.

- Gungun Upadhyay was in the news headlines, after she allegedly attempted suicide by by jumping from the sixth floor of Hotel Lord’s Inn in the Ratanada area of Jodhpur on 29 January 2022. Reportedly, she returned from Udaipur to Jodhpur after finsihing a modelling project. Before jumping off the terrace, she called her father’s mobile in a very traumatic condition and asked him to look at her face when he sees her.Her father immediately called the police and informed them about the situation. But it was too late to stop her from jumping. She fractured her legs and chest and also lost a lot of blood byu the injuries. Rumours are that she was emotionally blackmailed by a couple forcing her to honey trap a minister after filming her while she was bathing.
