Mohana Bhogaraju is an Indian Playback Singer. She gained recognition with the “Manohari” song from ‘Bahubali – The Beginning’. This song not only knocked the door of further opportunities to Mohana but also made her win “Radio Mirchi –Mirchi Music upcoming female vocalist 2015” award in Telugu Cinema. She sang in more than 100 films in her career.

Even as a child, Mohana Bhogaraju always had this fascination towards Music and had participated in many competitions held at schools and at various ethnic auditoriums such as Ravindra Bharati, Thyagaraja Ghana Sabha etc from very young age. Her mother was the first person to recognise and encourage her talent. She always accommodated her to many singing competitions held at different places. Although Mohana possesses a great talent in music, the outcomes from the competitions were futile. But this did not stop her from becoming a singer.
Mohana has gained lot of popularity through her latest Telangana Folk song called ‘Bullet Bandi‘. This song became viral in social media when a bride (Sai Sriya) danced for this song in her marriage. She danced on this song in a post-wedding dancing ceremony (called as Baraat in Telangana local language) and it took this song in a totally new direction. Bullet Bandi is written by Lyricist Laxam and composed by Sk Baji while Mohana gave her voice for it.
Mohana Bhogaraju has her own Youtube channel where she posts her cover songs and reprisals. It has more than 1 million subscribers as of now.
Some Lesser Known Facts About Mohana Bhogaraju
- Mohana started her career in 2013. She has sung her first song in the movie ‘Jai Sriram’ with the help of its Music Director Balaji Dhake.
- She took a break for almost 2 years after her first song and joined in some course to get a job. Later she gave a CD with her songs in it to Keeravani with the help of Ramya Behera and he joined her in his team after liking her voice.
- She sang many tracks and in chorus before she got hte break with Manohari song starring Prabhas. It also marked the acting debut of the Canadian Model Nora Fatehi. After that, there is no looking back as most of her songs are chart busters.
- Mohana likes Punjabi music and their food. We can see some punjabi songs like uprise version of Mast Qalandar sung by her in her channel too. She said she even visits Amritsar regularly.
- Mohana Bhogaraju’s instagram has nearly 114k subscribers where she posts her casual pics, song videos and even some of her hand drawn art pictures.
- Singer Mohana also looks great. She has features which are suitable to become even an actress. But she said she is not comfortable before the camera. She gave her voice though for a few movies. She voiced for Shreya Garu and Loki character (Malli’s mom) in RRR movie.
